Linear Bearing
Linear bearings, also known as ball guide shafts and bushings, consist of a metal rolling part and a polymer cage. The free movement of the balls provides the possibility of application in devices where the shaft moves along the rail for an infinite length. Linear bearings carry high radial loads with a relatively light weight; with this bearing, longitudinal guides with infinite travel can be designed. These bearings can be used to support both integral and segmented cutouts of the shaft. Some series designs allow radial clearance adjustment. This achieves a guide rail without play or with pretension.
