Needle roller and cage assemblies are separate components and are ready-to-mount bearings without inner and outer rings. In applications where the shaft and housing bore are used as raceways, this assembly can be used in bearing arrangements requiring minimal radial space. Needle roller bearings are assembled with many slender needle rollers whose length is 3 times to 10 times the diameter. The structure is compact.
